Delete Your Account

You can delete your Smart Abode account and its data at any time — from inside the app or from this website. You do not need to install the mobile app to request deletion. If you can still sign in, the self-service steps below remove your account immediately.

Delete your account yourself (recommended)

Account deletion is available on every platform — the web app, iOS, and Android — using the same steps:

  1. Sign in to your account at smartabode.app (or in the mobile app).
  2. Go to More → Account Details.
  3. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete my account.
  4. Re-enter your password (or re-authenticate with Google) and type DELETE to confirm.

What gets deleted

For properties you share with others, the property and its maintenance history remain with the group — that history belongs to the household, not to you individually. If you are the sole owner of a shared group, you will be asked to transfer ownership (or remove its members) before your account can be deleted, so the other members do not lose access.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there first (Apple subscriptions · Google Play subscriptions), otherwise it may continue to renew.

Can’t sign in? Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to your account, email chris@smartabode.app from the email address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request.” We will verify your identity and delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
